IG Posting Manager
Job Description:
Job Title: Instagram Posting System & Operations Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time, Remote
Compensation: $800 – $2,000 USD per month (depending on experience and performance)
About the Role
We are looking for a full-time remote Instagram Posting System & Operations Manager to oversee our Instagram content posting system, manage the software behind it, and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
In this role, you will be responsible for making sure all content is scheduled correctly, posted on time, and that the tools we use are functioning properly. The position combines technical/software management, operational coordination, and basic monitoring of performance.
What You’ll Do
Your primary focus will be managing the Instagram posting system and the software connected to it. You’ll handle scheduling posts, maintaining posting calendars, and monitoring queues to make sure everything goes out as planned. When errors or failed posts happen, you’ll step in to troubleshoot and resolve them, or coordinate with technical support if needed.
You will also oversee the operational side of the posting process. This means working with content creators, designers, or account managers to ensure content is delivered on time and ready to be scheduled. You will help maintain and improve workflows for how content is submitted, approved, and ultimately published.
A key part of your role will be managing the tools and integrations we use. You’ll keep system settings up to date, reconnect or update accounts when necessary, and report bugs or issues to developers or vendors. Where possible, you’ll suggest improvements, new features, or additional tools to make our posting system more efficient and reliable.
Monitoring and reporting will also be part of your routine. You’ll keep an eye on posting performance, track whether posts are going out consistently, and note any recurring issues. You may also track basic metrics such as reach or engagement and provide simple reports or summaries to the team. When you spot bottlenecks or recurring problems, you’ll be encouraged to propose practical solutions.
Finally, you’ll help document our processes. This includes maintaining clear SOPs (standard operating procedures), updating internal guides, and helping train new team members on how to use the posting system correctly and follow our workflows.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who has experience with social media tools or scheduling platforms, ideally with Instagram. You should be comfortable using web-based software, logging into dashboards, adjusting settings, and handling basic technical troubleshooting like reconnecting accounts or checking integrations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are important, as you’ll be responsible for keeping schedules accurate and operations smooth. Good written communication in English is needed, since most coordination will happen through chat, email, or task management tools. You should also be self-motivated and reliable, able to manage your own workload while working remotely and often asynchronously.
It’s a plus (but not required) if you have experience with automation tools such as Zapier or Make, some familiarity with Instagram analytics or content strategy, or a background in remote operations or coordination roles.
Compensation & Schedule
This is a full-time remote position. The compensation ranges from $800 to $2,000 USD per month, depending on your experience, skill set, and performance. Working hours are flexible, but you may be asked to maintain some overlap with the rest of the team or key posting windows.
